Cambodia Day 10: Sovann playground

We just finished today working with Sovann Komar. The students had a great time interacting with the other students We worked hard to refurbish the playground at Sovann including painting equipment, tearing out old equipment, and improving sandbox. The Cambodian kids warmed up to us quite quickly and at 3 o'clock when the rains came the big soccer game took place all the way through torrential downpour It was fun to watch them interact as they celebrated goals and celebrated people falling down and sliding in the mud.  The students were quite energized by the work they did and the connections that they begin tonight with the kids at Sovann.
