July 5th- The Seven Hour Birthday Party

Namaste! Today we all got to attend our very first seven hour birthday party. The party was to celebrate the 38th birthday of the Deep Griha Society. Our Aunties from the Cultural Center dressed us all up in traditional Indian Sarees (except for Ben/ Krishna unfortunetly.) Dr. Neela, the founder of Deep Griha Society, recognized all of their major donors and volenteers, like us! The rest of the party consisted of many traditional Indian dances and songs. We all had such a good time watching all of the elaborate dances, and seeing how happy and proud these Deep Griha workers, and donors really are. After the party, we went back to the Cultural Center and walked into town to get some groceries from our new favorite place, "Reliance." Sorry our blogging has been inconsistent, we have had very little internet access. Hope all is well back in the States for whoever is following us.

Mom- Stuart is doing well.
Mom- Hope you guys had fun in Harbor
